Attention all in-person students/parents:

We will be sending a notice home as well with the kiddos today. Our water company has made contact and explained that they are currently working on their water system and suggested that until it gets resolved our students, parents, and staff not trust the cleanliness of the drinking water. We have shut off all our drinking fountains until further notice. Luke Air Force Base has partnered with Primo Water and have so kindly delivered water coolers to replace our drinking fountains in the mean time. We ask that beginning tomorrow, all students bring a reusable water bottle with their name and class on it. Students will have their water bottles refilled throughout the day as needed :) Thank you!

Introducing... Artist of the Month

Since our Art Week, our students have been inspired to create their own masterpieces at home. We have started "Artist of the Month". We welcome any submissions of art to be displayed in our school lobby and throughout our hallways.

Congratulations! 5th grader, Layla, is our FEBRUARY ARTIST OF THE MONTH. Layla loves to paint and go horseback riding when she has free time. Her beautiful painting is currently displayed in our school lobby. We are so proud you!!!

Hello Crown School Parents,

All teachers will be here tomorrow and would love the opportunity to see their students and provide them with their new packets and wave hello!

You could come by and drop off/pickup work packets tomorrow Friday, January 29th from 1:00pm-4:00pm. This will be a drive-thru service! You could drive through and wrap around and stop in front of the office.

When you arrive please send a text with the student's name and teacher to 623-439-0188. The teacher will come out and bring you the packet/s.

Good afternoon all students and parents,

Teachers will be making phone calls to share more information on this matter.

At this time, Crown School has made the difficult decision to quarantine for 14 days- return date, February 8th. We currently have a couple of classes quarantined due to some confirmed cases. We feel that this is the best decision to make now and prevent having to make a more difficult decision of going virtual for the rest of the year. We will take the next two weeks to completely sanitize the school from head to toe. The safety of our students, parents, and staff is our priority and this is the best decision for us at this time.

We will remain open until 7 pm tonight to pick up work packets. Ms. Mayra will also be emailing packets if you'd rather print.

Virtual learning has been although challenging at times, so much fun!

With all schools doing virtual learning right now, we have to be extremely careful and take extra safety precautions. We will not publicize any meeting IDs or passwords on our sites and will only release that information via text or email.

All our virtual waiting rooms will be enabled and teachers will not begin class until all students are checked in/verified within the first 5 minutes of class. After that, teachers will no longer accept any sign-ins into the class so we ask that students if attending the virtual class, sign on no later than 5 minutes past their scheduled times.

First Day of School/Meet and Greet

Tomorrow, Kindergarten and 1st grade only will start with their academic sessions beginning at 8:30am. Please check your emails for meeting IDs and passwords.

2nd-6th Grade will have Meet and Greet at either 10am or 3pm. First day of academic sessions will begin on Tuesday at 9am for them. Meeting IDs and passwords were also emailed.

👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓 Kindergarten Graduation Info

Please arrive 20-30 min before your scheduled time. Staff will take the temperature of everyone in your vehicle. Mrs. Ramirez will electronically check you in and we will take your kinder grad at that time to get ready. Please park in the assigned area for your class. You will receive a text message when we are ready for your family to come inside; until then, please remain in your vehicle.

Back-to-school time!
We are so excited to start school very soon and see all our amazing families again. We are scheduled to start virtually on Monday, August 3rd. Postcards of assigned teachers have gone out by mail which will include meet and greet info for 2nd-6th grades. Remember... kinder and 1st grade meet and greet is by APPOINTMENT ONLY and will commence on Monday, July 27th. Please schedule with our front office if you have not yet done so.

We will begin in-class learning on August 17th. We are proud to say that Crown School has met all required guidelines to do so. Please keep in mind that we will continue to offer distance learning if you are not comfortable yet, we understand.

We have called everyone to confirm in-class or distance learning options so that we are prepared with the correct materials to educate your child. If we haven’t had a chance to speak with your family- please give our office a call.

We can’t wait to start and give our students some sense of normalcy again. Educating beautiful minds is our passion and we are thrilled to show you all that we have planned for this year; together, we will make it a great one!

Per Gov. Ducey's latest update, our in-person start of school has been delayed until Aug. 17th. Crown School will follow our current calendar date and start on Aug. 3rd through distance learning for two weeks. On Aug. 17th, those who are not ready/comfortable with in-person learning, may continue with our distance learning option through the remainder of the year or can return to school at any time.

Meet the Teacher:
Kinder and 1st grade will be by appointment ONLY and may be in-person or virtually. Please schedule this with Ms. Mayra in the front office as soon as possible.

2nd-6th Grade:
Virtual meet and greet on Monday, August 3rd. Information with meeting ID and times will be on postcards which will be mailed out. If you have recently moved, please update your contact info with our front office.

Kindergarten Graduation:
Our graduation has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 28th- held here at Crown School. A time for each class has been assigned. Mrs. Sammy- 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Robinson- 4:00 p.m. Mrs. Graham- 5:00 p.m. Students will be asked to come in for practice a few days before. Each kinder teacher will contact families individually.
