My tutors and I truly love getting the time and space to develop coursework for students who want to learn more, grow more, and think more. We work with students of all ages to go deeper into subjects they love, explore topics they've never encountered in school, and develop the kind of critical thinking that makes learning genuinely exciting. Whatever their spark, we'll fan it.
For example, one of my current students loves reading and writing β so we built her a world. A whole world! She designed a map of her lands, wrote dialogue for her characters, researched real governments throughout history to build her own political system, and even created a budget for her people (hi, math!). One interest, woven into history, creative writing, civics, and arithmetic because she had the time and space to go deep.
Summer is the perfect time for this kind of work; they have the time to go deeper and we have the time to really create lessons that foster that growth.
