From Learning to Masterpiece! 🦶💫✨

Our second-year podiatry students have been hard at work honing their plaster casting skills earlier this week. Witness the magic unfold in our captivating TikTok video! 🔬🎥

We asked some of our third-year students what their favorite part of first year was & everyone could agree it was the friendships they built throughout the year getting settled into their first year of medical school, but one event in particular was the Suture Off. During the Podiatric Surgery I course in the spring quarter, you compete against fellow classmates every week leading up to our Suture Off competition. The top 8 student doctors gown up, and with baby oil on their gloves, compete against each other in hand ties and different styles of sutures. This is a fun event where your classmates as well as friends and family can come watch you compete. We can't wait to welcome in our incoming Class of 2027 and see them participate in the same event as we all have in the past.
