The Glen Lakes era has ended. 1983-2012, 29 years of meeting so many great people who gave me a chance to help them play better golf and enjoy the game! Thanks for always spreading the word and sending your friends my way. I will always be proud all the juniors who grew up at Glen Lakes and how being a positive role model helped to shape their lives. My new home is at Coyote Lakes G.C. at 115th AVE. & Union Hills. I hope to see you soon.

An additional congrats to Jake Anderson and Nick Singpradith, joining teammate Jake Rex in qualifying for the State H.S. Golf Tournament at the end of Oct. All three are members of the Glen Lakes Ping Interclub Team and have made big improvements in their games since last spring.

Congrats to Ironwood H.S. Junior Jacob Rex for qualifying as an indivdual for the State High School Golf Championship. Great improvement since last May when the Glen Lakes Team finished the Ping Interclub Matches. Remeber that feeling that you had walking off the green knowing that you had the last needed point. That's what makes your practice FUN!!!!!

Thanks to Bobby Phillips-Jim Marshall, owners of Bellair G.C. for hosting another Pro-Am today. Thanks to Bill Dornan and staff for putting it all together and to Steve Jackson for getting the course in great tournament condition. What a FUN event, but my 5 over 64 just doesn't cut it. Congrats to Bobby Kalinowski with a 7 under 52.

Thanks to Mike Palmer from Pro Conditioning Golf for hosting a great seminar at Glen Lakes. 11 students attended wanting to know more about how to get fit for golf and improve their game.Coming soon will be another!

Good luck to the Peoria H.S. Boys Golf Team this fall season. Enjoyed our two preseason workouts and seeing each player wanting to learn more.
