Hello Scorpion families!
Welcome back for the 2023-2024 school year. We cannot wait to see everyone returning and to greet the new faces as well.
Back to School Night is Thursday July 27 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. On this night, you can come in through the courtyards to find your child's teacher posted on a bulletin board. You will also be able to view this information in PowerSchool. Staff members will be available to help guide you to your child's classrooms. Maps will also be available. During this time, you will be able to come on campus to meet your child's teacher and see their classroom. For student health & safety, visitors are not allowed on campus once school begins on July 31st, so take this opportunity to take photos of your child! We will be available to answer questions about busing and the cafeteria staff will be there with information and to assist you to put money on your student's lunch account. In addition, Stingers Club and Girl Scouts will be here as well. There will also be a FREE backpack & school supply drive hosted by CityView Church for all students, so be sure to stop in the cafeteria! Kona Ice will also be here in front of the school selling shaved ice.
If you plan to volunteer in your child's classroom, attend class parties or field trips, please plan to attend a mandatory, one time volunteer training from 6:30-7:00 PM in the Multi Purpose Room.
PARKING
Park Meadows is fortunate enough to have a working relationship with St James Parish across the street. St James graciously allows our families to utilize the parking lot for events and pick up/dismissal. Please be sure to adhere to the following guidelines when utilizing the St James parking lot.
Do NOT park in any of the first 3 rows closest to the church buildings. These spots are reserved for the parishioners of St James. Please park in the far west side of the parking lot (past the boulders, in the dirt area)
Please be courteous and respectful of those walking through the parking lot and let them cross in front of your vehicle safely.
Always obey the 10 MPH speed limit at ALL times
Please check your email for more details!
We look forward to another great year!

Students in Ms. Mills’ first grade class have been learning about the butterfly lifecycle🦋 and the role of nature’s pollinators. They did research and made their own google slide presentations. They had fun simulating the pollination of flowers😊 Best of all students observed first hand the metamorphosis of Painted Lady butterflies from egg to adult! They will celebrate with a butterfly release later this week❤️
