We are excited to announce that the Glendale LDS Institute will be hosting a choir for the second time starting on February 9th, 2022! We are called the Arizona Saints Chorale and are a student run choir that holds concerts every semester to raise money for different charities.

Spring 2022 is the continuation of our fourth year. Our mission throughout the semester and with our fundraising concerts is to help prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and to help His kingdom upon the earth. We do this through our concerts and through service to others as we fortify their and our faith in Jesus Christ.

Music includes anything from classic choral music to original compositions by one of our directors. Part of our concerts also includes small acts or musical numbers which range from solos to duets or small groups. They can be vocal, instrumental, and anything in between. Auditions are required for these small acts and are determined by quality as well as how well they fit with the theme of the semester.

This semester's theme is "Sunshine In My Soul" and we are currently working on finding a charity that helps cancer victims. We will be performing mid-May. Rehearsals will begin on February 9th, 2022 and are every Wednesday night at 7PM. Auditions are required but are simple and quick. We check your range and have you sing a hymn from the hymnbook.

The Institute is working on making credit available for those who attend, though you don't have to be a student to attend or sign up for credit. It is entirely up to you.

Tomorrow (NOVEMBER 9) we will have a Baked Potato Bar for dinner. Piping hot potatoes with melted butter and all the toppings! We're going to serve warm brownies and cold ice cream for dessert! Bring friends!

Did you know there is a national blood shortage? Like critical levels. We are teaming up with Vitalant THIS Tuesday evening October 26th to host a blood drive. We are in need of donors to fill all of the open slots so we can make a big impact! If you are willing to donate, please text Sister Swick at 602-526-8959.

As part of our normal Tuesday festivities, we will hold our normal classes at 5:00PM and 7:00PM with dinner served at 6:30PM. We are doing "Soups and Salads" and they are going to be YUMMY! Please come join us!
