This is the Official Page of Cactus High School, founded in 1978. The Peoria Unified School District boasts a 94 percent high school graduation rate.

Cactus High School, part of the Peoria Unified School District, is located in the Northwest Valley. It is one of the largest unified school districts in Arizona and prides itself on excelling schools, award-winning teachers, high test scores, specialized signature programs and championship sports programs.

Cactus High School is incredibly proud to recognize an outstanding achievement by one of our very own, Charley Enos! 🏆
Charley has been named Arizona’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year by the AIA—a prestigious honor that highlights not only elite performance in athletics, but also exceptional dedication in the classroom. This remarkable accomplishment reflects Charley’s hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in everything she does.
She truly exemplifies what it means to be a Cobra—balancing academics and athletics at the highest level while representing our school with integrity and pride. 👏

Peoria Unified School District and Cactus High School’s Award-Winning Cobra Robotics Program is now accepting students for the 2026-2027 Season!
They will be hosting a new member meeting THIS Monday May 18th at 3pm in Room 532!
Come learn about the program, scholarship opportunities and how you can find a home with our team!
No experience is necessary and all students are welcome!
Robots aren’t your thing? Our business and marketing team are a perfect fit for you!
The program is open to all students in the Peoria Unified School District as well to incoming freshmen.

Your Cactus High School Track & Field team is wrapping up an incredible season filled with major accomplishments! Leading the way, Isabella Jordan captured the Division III State Championship in the 1600 meters, breaking the school record by an impressive 3 seconds, finishing in a 5:03. At the Division III State Championships, six additional athletes and relay teams proudly represented Cactus: Haley Reyes in the High Jump, Aryn Prinz and Anthony Clemons in the 400-meter dash, Andrew Martinez in both the 1600 and 3200 meters, and the boys 4x400 relay team of Aryn Prinz, Jett Martinez, Anthony Clemons, and Malaki Rodriguez, who also earned the title of 2026 PUSD11 District Champions.
The success didn’t stop there. The girls 4x800 relay team battled their way to a second place District Championship title, while the girls 4x100 relay team earned an impressive 4th-place finish at the district championships, showcasing the determination and talent across the entire program. From school records to state titles, district championships, and countless personal bests, this season was a true testament to the hard work and dedication of every athlete and coach involved. Congratulations to all of our student athletes on an outstanding season, the future of Cactus Track & Field is brighter than ever!
