Friends and family who pay Arizona state income tax -

As many of you may know, Arizona provides a way to fund your local schools and charities through what they call the Arizona tax credit. This is a dollar-for-dollar credit towards your tax liability which allows you to direct where your state income taxes go.
Gideon High School qualifies to receive these funds to pay the tuition of the students. We are a small school and all of our students rely on scholarships to attend. As we grow, we have more students than we have funding. Most of these students would not be able to attend a private school if it were not for the tax credit scholarship.

If you are familiar with this program and have a student you are recommending for your tax credit, please continue to support them. If the student you normally recommend is using ESA funds please consider recommending Gideon High School to receive those funds as students are not allowed to use both ESA funding and the tax credit scholarships.

There is a very long list of employers who also match your donation so please reach out to me or Gideon High School for information on how to fill out that form for HR. It is an easy process that you and your tax professional can walk through. We would love to tell you how to stretch your tax dollars and choose how to support your community and those teenagers who want to finish school but do not have the financial support necessary.
