Congratulations to Ms. Jaskolski on being named Burton's new Assistant Principal for the 2026 - 2027 school year!

I am honored to serve as the incoming Assistant Principal at Glenn F. Burton School. Having previously served our school community as both a teacher and instructional coach, I have developed a deep appreciation for the students, staff, and families who make Burton such a special place.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and my master's degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I am passionate about supporting student success, fostering positive relationships, and empowering both students and staff to reach their full potential.

I am excited to continue serving the Burton community and look forward to partnering with you for a successful school year.

Welcome Ms. Miller to Burton! Ms. Miller will be teaching Media Technology classes to our K - 8th grade students:

I began my career in education as a parent volunteer, then for 6 years I worked as a kitchen manager while also volunteering in my sons classrooms. All in the small town of Cortez, Colorado. I loved working in the classroom so went to college to become a teacher and began my teaching career on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico (while living in Colorado) teaching gifted education. I moved to Arizona in 2017 where I spend two years teaching middle school science and 7 years teaching gifted education.

Meet Mr. Diaz. He will be teaching 6th grade math and science at Burton. We are thrilled he will be joining Burton:

I graduated from the Pedagogical University of El Salvador in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. I have three years of experience teaching in my home country, where I taught math from 4th to 9th grade. This is my third year teaching in the United States. I am an international teacher from El Salvador. I decided to come to the United States because it has always been one of my dreams, and I want to share that dream with my students

We are excited to have Ms. Bauer joining our Burton team and an Achievement Advisor:

Ms. Bauer is originally from Colorado, but she fell in love with Arizona when she moved here to attend GCU for her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

She brings 7 years of classroom experience teaching 4th and 5th grade right here in Glendale Elementary School District. She is a dedicated educator and a lifelong learner, earning two Master’s Degrees in both Reading and Curriculum & Instruction!

She loves to share her knowledge and is beyond excited to join the Burton community and partner with our incredible teachers and students to make this school year the best one yet.

A few fun facts about Ms. Bauer:
She is a proud dog mom to two pups!
She loves crafting and reading.
She is a huge fan of anything Disney or Harry Potter

Welcome Ms. Stoltzfus to Burton! Ms. Soltzfus will be teaching 5th grade and we are very excited she will be part of the Burton family:

Hello! My name is Lindsay Stoltzfus and I am excited to join the Burton team in 5th grade this coming school year! I was born and raised in northern Indiana, spent my first few years of college in the Dominican Republic, and then recently graduated with my Bachelor’s from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in school settings in various roles for the last 5 years. I love being outside––hiking, running, and biking are my favorite ways to spend my free time! I also enjoy visiting local coffee and tea shops.
