Challenger School PTSA Parent Teacher Student Association Challenger PTSA is here to support our children, our community, and our school.

Our PTSA does many things to help the school throughout the year, most of which requires money (and of course time from our amazing volunteers). We fund many areas of interest to our kids including field trips, in-class presentations, supplies for clubs and sports, events such as Family Movie Night, Paint Night, and much more! This year we have already started planning some exciting fundraisers to

help gain more funds to be able to supply the school and our students with more tools to be as successful as possible.

There’s a lot happening this month — spirit days, fall sports, our CPR Coffee Talk, Kona Ice, the PTSA meeting, food distribution, the GESD Color Run, playoffs, and more! 💙🐾

Be sure to save our September calendar so you can keep up with all the important dates and events.

And don’t forget — we’re also collecting individually wrapped candy for our Spooky Stroll on October 28! 🎃🍬

**Big changes are coming to our American Furniture Warehouse (AFW) partnership!** 🚨

After 10 incredible years, AFW is winding down its school rewards program. Together with school partners, they’ve raised nearly $2.5 million for local schools! While we are sad to see this program end, we are so grateful for all the support AFW and our community have shown over the years.

🗓️ **August is the LAST month to participate and earn rewards for Challenger!**

If you are planning to shop for new home furnishings, now is the time. Let’s give this program one last big push before it wraps up!

**How to make your purchase count this month:**

* **Shop AFW:** Pick out your favorite items online or in-store.
* **Mention Challenger PTSA:** Make sure to mention Challenger Middle School PTSA at checkout so our school receives credit before the month ends.
