Sometimes your weld needs to be a little bigger and you throw a weave pass on top. I welded this in the vertical position at around 103-108 amps. Being that this weld coupon is so small, it requires less heat. The heat cannot travel far from the weld, resulting in an increase in temperature throughout the whole piece. Also, a verticle up weld will carry and pe*****te more than welding in other positions.
