First day back after a long break as a substitute teacher… and suddenly we’ve forgotten how this whole thing works. 😂

Walking into the classroom like: “What should I do?” 😳
Five minutes later: “Okay… ask me questions.” 🤣

Sometimes substitute teaching is just showing up, figuring it out as you go, and looking confident while doing it. 😎📚

Who else needs a minute to reboot after a long break? 😂

Every substitute teacher knows this moment. 😂

You walk into the classroom feeling confident… then open the lesson plans and suddenly realize you need a degree in code-breaking too. 🕵️‍♀️📋

And somehow the students are looking at YOU like you’re supposed to know exactly what it means. 😭

Substitute teaching: 50% teaching, 50% detective work. 😂

The real reason we need a longer lunch break… 😂

Because how are we supposed to eat, use the bathroom, answer emails AND discuss everything that happened before lunch in just 40 minutes?! 😭🤣

Some mornings give us enough material for an entire podcast episode. 🎙️😂
