Class of 2027 wrapped up our first year by fabricating and presenting orthoses! It’s been so fun learning, collaborating, and growing together throughout the year 🤍

Today our OT-1’s participated in MWU’s Brave Hearts Health and Wellness Fair 🌟

Students from various disciplines came together to support children with disabilities and empower families as they navigate their healthcare journeys. We created a sensory room, hosted an interactive table, and provided families with helpful resources!

One of the best parts of MWU is the opportunity to engage with our community and apply what we’ve learned in ways that truly make a difference 💙

A few weeks ago, our OT-1s brought the energy to High School Career Day ✨🧠📚
From pediatrics and orthotics to vision and assessments, students got a hands-on glimpse into the many ways OT makes a real impact. We loved sharing our passion and sparking interest in a field that truly changes lives.

Our OT 1s have been spending time volunteering at The Haven, a shelter dedicated to supporting seniors experiencing homelessness.

This week, they provided education on heat safety and had the opportunity to connect with residents while painting hand fans together!🎨

We’re excited to continue working with The Haven and building meaningful connections within the community!🤍✨
