Career Fair day at MWU! 💙Our OT, PT, and SLP students had the opportunity to connect with clinics and facilities from across Arizona and learn more about future career opportunities.

A huge thank you to all of the Arizona clinics and facilities that joined us! We are so grateful you took the time to connect with our students and share more about the opportunities available in our community! 🎉

We love Advanced Orthotics!!

To finish up their elective, students presented the orthoses they made based on their case studies and shared how they tailored each one to meet their client’s needs. This course was such a great opportunity to bring creativity and clinical reasoning together!

Congratulations to some our OT II’s on completing the pediatric handwriting elective! Once a week students got the opportunity to work with school aged children helping them improve their skills in letter formation, sizing, and gaining more confidence in their handwriting! ✏️📝

Meet Our Anatomy Fellows! 🫀🦴

We’re excited to recognize this incredible group of second-year Occupational Therapy students who were selected to serve as our Anatomy Fellows this quarter.

This prestigious role combines the responsibilities of both dissection fellows and teaching assistants for our first-year OT anatomy course. Throughout the summer, these students dedicate hours to the careful dissection of human donors while also guiding, mentoring, and supporting our first-year students during anatomy lab.

Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to support others have made a huge difference throughout the anatomy course. Whether they were in the lab completing dissections or helping first-year students build their confidence, they consistently led by example. We’re incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and thankful for everything they’ve contributed.

Today, we’re recognizing Anna, Tatiana, Megan, and Miriam for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our program!
