Congratulations to Ms. Elizabeth Murphy at Desert Garden Preschool for winning the Best Decorated Classroom Door Award from the Paint GESD Pink campaign.
GESD students and staff participate in an annual breast cancer awareness campaign to help fight for a cure. During the month of October, schools and departments decorate in pink and raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
New this month, Ms. Murphy's preschoolers had a much-anticipated celebratory cupcake party along with the presentation of a trophy and a gift card for Ms. Murphy, donated by the Glendale Uniting Students, Teachers, and Others (GUSTO) Foundation.
