For the last four months the teacher has returned to being the student. It has been quite a shift to transition to jets, but today I passed my Checkride. I can’t say enough about how being a student, then an instructor at Angel Aviation has helped make this possible.

Well It looks like the teacher has once again become the student. Angel aviation has prepared me well for this next stage on my career. Now I am in training With SkyWest airlines.

In the blink of an eye, I hit my goal of 1500 hours. I still have a few students to help pass their checkrides, but before long I will be a student again. Every hour is a chapter of many different peoples stories that I was lucky enough to be a part of. What a blessing it has been so far. I look forward to my next flights, and my next steps in training. A huge thanks to Angel Aviation for giving me this opportunity.

So this week I got to fly from Arizona all the way up to Anchorage Alaska, and then back, all in four days. It was beautiful and exhausting.

The life of a CFI.

I have been on some wonderful adventures recently, and felt I would be amiss if I didn’t share some of the beauty that I have been able to enjoy.

I can’t say enough about Alea and how proud I am of her. She finished up her private rating and soon after got her tail wheel endorsement as well. What an example of hard work. And a thanks to Brent Alexander for helping her along when I was not available. What an outstanding CFI.

I am so stinking excited for Jordan. We were able to knock out his instrument rating in just over two weeks. He is the poster child for hard work and determination. There is an amazing future in store for him.
