“I’m proud to have been part of the Early Childhood Education field since September 1995. Since joining NSPCC in April 2016, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside an incredible organization and community.
I began my journey at the West Mequon center as the Preschool Teacher. In May 2019, I stepped into the Assistant Director role, and just a few months later, in October 2019, I became the Center Director.

Over the past 10 years at NSPCC, I’ve witnessed remarkable growth and change. I’ve had the joy of watching so many children learn, grow, and graduate from our program. Our organization has expanded, our centers have evolved, and we’ve proudly welcomed a third center to serve even more families.

On a personal note, my connection to NSPCC goes back even further. I’ve known Mary and Jolene since 2008, when we worked together. I also had the pleasure of teaching Mary’s two oldest children, Cole and Maggie, in my 4-year-old classroom. 🎉💙 Happy 12-Year Anniversary, Ms. Jolene! 💙🎉

Today we’re celebrating an incredible milestone for someone who means so much to our North Shore Preschool & Childcare family! 🥳

For the past 12 years, Ms. Jolene has filled little hearts (and little tummies! 🍎🍽️) by preparing delicious, healthy meals for all three of our locations. She’s also always ready to jump into the classroom whenever an extra helping hand is needed and she does it all with the biggest smile. ❤️

Our children absolutely light up when they see Ms. Jolene, and we’re so thankful for the kindness, love, and dedication she brings every single day.

What an AMAZING Community Helpers Week!
The Shining Stars at Northshore Preschool East had an unforgettable week learning about the everyday heroes who help keep our communities safe and strong! They were excited to welcome police officers, firefighters, military officers, Coast Guard members, and an accountant into their classroom.

The children loved learning about each helper's important job, exploring their equipment, asking thoughtful questions, and even trying on some of the gear! To make the week even more special, the wonderful guests surprised the children with fun keepsakes, including police patches stickers, U.S. military cups, coast guard wristbands, and colorful balls.

It was a week filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration.
Thank you to all of our amazing community helpers for taking the time to visit and make such a lasting impact on our little learners!

Today the children participated in an in house field trip called Challenge Island! The challenge was for kiddos to pair up into partners and create a structure for their “people” to be able to survive a volcano 🌋

When all the teams were done, the kids created a chemical reaction (vinegar mixed with baking soda) to create the volcano…All the teams were able to succeed the challenge and keep their people safe from the volcano! 🌋
