Our future 1st and 2nd graders aren’t “crabby” about being at school this summer! After reading Eric Carle’s A House for Hermit Crab they made their own hermit crabs!

More summer fun!! The Avinas and Fregozos used a homemade ice cream experiment to explore states of matter. By lowering the temperature, energy was removed from the mixture, causing the molecules to slow down and change from a liquid to a solid.

We’re having some summer fun here at Arroyo!! We love having our future kinder lobos on campus!

We had a great last day of school! We celebrated our kinders going on to first grade and our 3rd graders from Mrs. Paz and Mrs. Bautista’s class moving on to Ironwood! We hope everyone has a great summer and we will see you at Meet the Teach in early August!

Our 3rd graders had to come up with their own product, make it and then sell it today to their classmates and some parents! We sure do have some creative 3rd graders!

Our 8th graders closed out their time at Arroyo with a school wide clap out and then promotion! Good luck to our 8th graders in high school!
