Here is a glimpse into the final On-Demand segment of our online course, Carrie's Story. In this segment of our On-Demand course, Carrie's Story, we discuss the Home Assessment, Home Modifications and Adaptive Equipment assessments that we critical to Carrie's move from a state institution into a robust community life. In our work transitioning people from state institutions to community life we have found that often equipment being used in institutions is for the sake of staff rather than the best experience for the individual. In this segment we talk about finding the best match of safety and comfort in picking adaptive equipment.

Our course, Carrie's Story, follows a woman our team helped transition from an institution in Georgia to life in the community of her choosing. This course is broken up into 9 On-Demand segments.
