My latest article in GTG from speaks to the importance of vaccines in our pets. One thing we all should probably want to know is that there is almost no worse way to die - the long agonizing, slow, choking and gagging death - than from rabies.

Rabies is a zoonotic disease, meaning that it is transmittable between people and animals, and once symptoms appear, it is almost always fatal to the animal or the person.
