One hour countdown! Join us for a Thanksgiving celebration🙏🏻🍁🍂🦃

The Churchwide Thanksgiving Meal IS TONIGHT beginning at 6:30pm in the Gathering Area. There are a few important details everyone needs to know. We hope to see you tonight!
1) The entire meal will be catered and prepared. PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY DISHES OR DESSERTS. Everything will be provided for. Our Deacons will be serving everyone that evening.
2) We ask that everyone please wear masks when in line to receive their food & to respect others by socially distancing and wearing a mask in other areas. All tables will be spread throughout the Gathering Area so families can sit together and be socially distanced from other tables.
3) There will be no other activities after the meal. The ordination service that was planned will be rescheduled.

ATTENTION GLENCOE!!!!!!
We would like to invite you to come out to the high school field house on Thursday nights at 6:00 for about 30 minutes(at the most) to pray for our players, cheerleaders, band members, coaches, students, community and any other prayer requests that might be asked for. It doesn’t matter if you have a child in elementary, middle or high school! Doesn’t matter what sport they play and doesn’t even matter if you have a child in any sport! We need moms, grandmothers, sisters, aunts or anyone to come out and show the love of Jesus and pray for our students and community! We meet every Thursday night at 6:00 in the field house. If you can’t make it on Thursday nights you can also attend on Friday mornings at about 7:00-7:30am. We have been doing this for many years and have had a lot of people show up to pray but here lately it has been like 5 moms to show up. Our kids and community have been through so much and our kids, coaches, teachers, community, families and friends NEED prayer and I would love to see the field house FULL again! So PLEASE come out and join us for a few minutes to Pray!!!!!

You are invited to join us tonight at 6:00 pm as we meet to pray for the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and the new school year. If you can’t make it tonight you have a second opportunity to be part of the Praying Moms crew Friday morning, Aug. 9th, 7:30 am.

T-shirt money and candle fundraiser money is due no later than this week’s Friday morning meeting. If you are not able to sell candles but would love to have one of the amazing scents from J&J Candles please contact Jennifer Hanners to place an order. All money will go towards providing the many things Praying Moms are involved in during the year. (Away game meals, homecoming decorations, athletic banquets, etc.) This year’s Praying Moms T-shirts are also still available for order through August 9th. ❤️🙏🏻🙌

This school year Glencoe Praying Moms will be led by Jennifer Hanners. 🙏🏻❤️ Thank you Jennifer for stepping into the role this year! Join us for our first meeting this Thursday morning, July 25th, 7:30 am at the stadium as we pray for the 2019-20 football program- including band, cheer, coaches, players, and workers. Praying Moms’ t-shirt this year will be black, Next Level brand. They are the super soft, lightweight style t-shirts and will be $12 each. We will post the design soon. Money is due by August 9th and checks can be made payable to Jennifer Hanners.

The football team and coaches will be hosting a 7 on 7 beginning at 9 am on Thursday. The event is open to the community, no admission cost, concessions available. Glencoe Yellow Jackets are scheduled to play at 9, 9:30, and 10:30 am. 🏈🙌👏

Athletic Banquet this Saturday night, April 13th at North Glencoe Baptist Church, 5:00pm. Football, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and cheer athletes will be honored. Athletes and senior parents are free, all other guests are $5. Join us as we take the time to honor the hard work and talent poured out by our Glencoe Yellow Jacket athletes!
