Mission of Friends of the Homestead is to strengthen Homestead School's role as a community resource for access to environmental education by offering financial assistance and funding projects that support community engagement. The organization will focus on three key initiatives:
Community Care Fund: Offering need-based assistance to current families within our community who fall on hard financia

l times, have suffered a loss due to illness or tragedy, or would not otherwise be able to afford to attend the Homestead School. Facilities Improvements: Funding capital improvement projects that enable the Homestead School to expand its environmental education offerings and host members of the community for programs and events. Curriculum Enhancements and Outreach: Funding materials and technology that enhance the ability of the Homestead School's students and faculty to connect and engage community members and global partners with enriched environmental and humanitarian programs.
