Art 2 and 3 worked on face proportions yesterday and today - it’s harder than it looks! Check out a few! we’re going to try it again at the end of the year to see our progress.

Art 1 finished up the week with some art history. We learned about Lascaux Cave in France, then decorated a picture of a bull found on the wall of the cave… with a modern twist!

Fun fact… the cave was discovered by a teenage boy’s dog… He brought a few more boys to check out the cave - they were the first to see these untouched ancient etchings and paintings that had been hidden for thousands of years! Their teacher actually thought they were playing a cruel joke on him when they came to tell him about what they’d found. He thought they wanted to trap him in the deep hole as a prank!
