This is what 5 days of Aladdin Jr. Musical Theatre camp can do.
On Monday, they walk in for role placement. Some are brand new. Some have performed before. Every camper gets a role, a script, and the chance to step into a character.
By Tuesday and Wednesday, they’re learning choreography, blocking, songs, and scenes. New friendships are forming. Confidence starts replacing nerves.
Thursday is dress rehearsal. Costumes go on, the story comes together, and suddenly it feels like a real production.
Then Friday arrives.
The same kids who nervously auditioned just days before step on stage, off book, in costume, performing Aladdin Jr. for a packed audience of family and friends.
That’s our favorite part. Not just the show, but the transformation.
Watching these kids, ages 6-10, discover they’re capable of so much more than they thought in only five days. 🧞
