🎉 Saturday: The BIG night! 6 PM @ The Backyard in Wheaton — food, drinks, entertainment and a whole lot of catching up!

🥂 Sunday: TBA

40 YEARS! We only get to celebrate this once, and it just won’t be the same without you.

Can you believe we are LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY?! 🎉 I hope you’ve RSVP’d YES for our Glenbard South Class of ’86 Reunion Weekend!

And if you’re still on the fence, I’m telling you — COME! ❤️

Yes, it’s going to be a great weekend of reminiscing, laughing, and probably telling a few stories that have gotten better over the last 40 years 😂… but you may also walk away with something you never expected: new friendships with people you’ve known for 40+ years, but never really knew!

That’s already happening with some of us who have reconnected while planning this reunion, and it’s been one of the best parts.

So don’t be shy, don’t overthink it, and definitely don’t say, “Maybe next time.” It’s been 40 YEARS — THIS IS THE NEXT TIME! 💙💛

Who would’ve thought that 40 years later, this Mötley Crüe would be sitting around the same dinner table? (Brian Swindle also in pic)

Truth be told…some of us didn’t even hang out together in high school. We each had our own friends, activities, and circles. But that’s the funny thing about a reunion—it has a way of bringing people together who may have barely crossed paths back then.

Last night was another reunion planning meeting, and it reminded us why we’re putting so much effort into this weekend. It’s not about reliving high school…it’s about reconnecting….

So don’t be shy—we’d love to see you!

🏈 Friday: Homecoming football game, school tour, then Shannon’s Pub in Glen Ellyn

🍔 Saturday: Visit your favorite hometown spots for lunch, then join us at The Backyard in Wheaton at 6:00 PM for an evening of great food, drinks, entertainment, and lots of memories.

🥞 Sunday: Wrap up the weekend with brunch (or a little “hair of the dog”) at Two Brothers in Warrenville.

Whether you were one of the popular kids, a band member, an athlete, a theater kid, or someone who just quietly made it through high school, this weekend is for everyone.

We can’t wait to reconnect with you!

Why so many of us working so hard to make our 40th Reunion such a special weekend?

Because we’re 57 and 58 years old, and life looks a little different than it did 10 years ago. None of us knows what the next 10 years will bring, and we don’t want to wait until our 50th reunion to reconnect.

This isn’t about what you’ve accomplished, what you do for a living, or what you look like. It’s about laughing, reminiscing, and spending time with the people who shared such an important chapter of our lives.

So say “yes” to the reunion! Say yes to a casual evening @ The Backyard Event Space in Wheaton, great conversations, old friends, and making a few new memories together.

We truly hope you’ll come. Let’s make our 40th reunion the one everyone remembers. ❤️
