Colleagues,

The College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL will be hosting the annual Illinois Council of HVACR Educators (ICARE) meeting on Friday April 29th, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. until about 4:30 p.m. in Room T009. You are encouraged to invite any other HVACR faculty from your institution.
ICARE meets once a year for the purpose of professional development which includes technical training on HVACR topics of interest, discussions of best practices in HVACR education, and showcasing of facilities and equipment. This opportunity to get together with other HVACR faculty has over the years proven extremely helpful and beneficial to improving program quality.

Presently we have invited representatives from HVAC Excellence to present an outline of the benefits and resources available after obtaining accreditation through their organization. We already hold accreditation from the AHRI PAHRA program, but wanted to go further with HVAC Excellence.
We also have Christopher Mohalley from Gentec motors to give a presentation on “How Indoor Blower Motor Technology Has Changed Airflow Diagnostics”.
Currently I am still working on getting additional speakers on HVACR topics that will be informative and relevant. If you have any other topics or speakers that you would find interesting, please let me know.

We will be providing a nutritious lunch. I have attached a map of the campus.
Please RSVP when you get a chance so we can get a count for the lunch meal.
Regards,

Scott Allen
