We are done waiting. The national conversation about kids and tech has been going on for years. The research is unambiguous, yet little has fundamentally changed.

Youth Enrichment Brands has officially launched the Generation Real Project: our commitment to rebuilding the real-world experiences that give children confidence, resilience, and joy. https://bit.ly/4hblOH2

We welcome child development experts Erica Komisar LCSW and Jennifer Breheny Wallace as advisors. They will help us develop parenting resources to liberate kids and their parents from digital distress.

These tools will complement the world-class programming at School of Rock, i9 Sports, SafeSplash Swim Schools, Miller Swim School, Saf-T-Swim Swim School, US Sports Camps, NBC Basketball, KE Camps, U.S. Baseball Academy, and CMT Learning - Euro Sports Camps - Sports Tours Europe.

In addition, we are very proud that Tutu School, KidStrong, Apex Leadership Co., and Avid4 Adventure have joined the Generation Real Consortium. If your organization belongs in this conversation, message me.

As Pride Month comes to a close I would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to our amazing community for everything you do to create a safe, inclusive, and diverse space where kids can show up, rock out, and be their 100% authentic selves. Not only one month, but every day.

As this celebratory month comes to a close, let’s take a moment to remember the true history and reason behind Pride Month.

Remembering the Roots of Pride🏳️‍🌈
Since 1970, LGBTQ+ Pride has been celebrated in June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall uprising—a powerful rebellion against state-sanctioned discrimination and intimidation following a police raid at New York’s Stonewall Inn. While patrons had long endured frequent raids and unjust arrests, the crowd spontaneously resisted that summer night. Their courage sparked a vital movement that continues to demand equal human and civil rights for the LGBTQ+ community to this day.

A Celebration and a Call to Action🏳️‍⚧️
From the very beginning, honoring this anniversary has been about two things: celebrating queerness and continuing the fight for freedom from discrimination and systemic oppression.
•To some, this month is a joyful opportunity to revel in the LGBTQ+ community’s diversity, beauty, creativity, resilience, and love.
•To others, it serves as a more somber reminder and a call to action—a moment to recognize that there is still immense work to do to ensure all people have equal protection, equal opportunities, and the freedom to live and love authentically.

Thank you for making School of Rock a place where everyone belongs, every day of the year. Let's keep amplifying every voice.
