Our students at Tiegerman Preschool and Elementary School in Glen Cove did a fabulous job participating in the talent show! They showed incredible confidence, enthusiasm, and creativity as they proudly shared their special talents with their classmates and teachers. We are so proud of each student for stepping onto the stage, cheering one another on, and making the talent show such a fun and memorable event!

What better way to celebrate a beautiful day than with ice cream, smiles, and time together! 💙

Today, our students at Tiegerman Elementary and Preschool enjoyed a fun-filled Ice Cream Social with plenty of sweet treats, happy faces, and wonderful memories. 🍨🎉

We were excited to welcome representatives from PVH to Tiegerman School at Woodside! Our students enjoyed the opportunity to connect, learn, and participate in meaningful experiences with our special guests. Thank you to the PVH team for taking the time to visit, engage with our students, and support our school community. We truly appreciate your partnership and look forward to future opportunities together! 💙💛

Our 9th grade students rolled up their sleeves, worked together, and hosted a successful car wash fundraiser to support Tiegerman Middle School. Through teamwork, dedication, and plenty of elbow grease, they raised funds that will go directly back into their program, helping create even more enriching learning experiences and opportunities throughout the school year. Thank you to all our staff, families and community members who stopped by!

🐾 Paws, Smiles & New Friends!

Our students at Tiegerman Elementary School in Glen Cove had a tail-wagging good time during a special visit from therapy dogs! From gentle cuddles to joyful interactions, these amazing four-legged visitors brought comfort, confidence, and plenty of smiles to everyone they met.

Therapy dogs do so much more than brighten a room. They help reduce anxiety, encourage communication, build social connections, and create a calm, welcoming environment where students can thrive.

We loved every minute and can’t wait to see you again!

Our 7th and 8th grade students from Tiegerman School at Woodside had a wonderful time exploring and learning through hands-on experiences at the New York Hall of Science! Students enjoyed creating giant bubbles, designing silly eyeglasses using plastic connecting sets, and engaging in interactive activities that encouraged creativity, curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork. It was a fun and meaningful day of learning beyond the classroom!

What an incredible day at our very first Tiegerman Family Fun Day! 💙

See you Sunday! Tiegerman is hosting its first Family Fun Day on August 2 at Plattduetsche Park to celebrate families and staff of the New York special education program for students with developmental disabilities and autism.
