Trans?
No, no… not that kind. 🤣
TRANSCENDING. ❤️💙💜
That’s honestly one of the best words I can think of to describe what I saw tonight.
There aren’t many places where people from completely different walks of life, different backgrounds, different experiences, and different skill levels can come together… meet new friends, laugh, have fun, support one another — and work toward such an important common goal:
Learning. Training. Confidence. And personal safety.
First, I can’t thank Mikey, Pop Pop, the guys, and especially our regular badass “Tactical Ladies” enough for holding down Ladies Night while I’ve been dealing with some things.
But let me tell you…
Walking in tonight and seeing our ladies GETTING AFTER IT — laughing, joking, helping each other, making new friends and, most importantly, TRAINING — absolutely made my night.
New faces.
New names.
First-time shooters.
Experienced shooters.
And our Tactical Ladies doing what they’ve grown to love.
I stood there for a minute just taking it all in and thought…
I’m so damn proud of everyone!!! ❤️💙💜
And I’m incredibly thankful for our friends at Continental Arms for their continued support, partnership, and for opening their doors to give these women a special night to learn, train and enjoy themselves.
And please understand — this next part is NOT a sales pitch.
Ladies… take the step.
If you’ve never touched a fi***rm…
If you’re nervous or intimidated…
If you’re simply curious…
Or if you already shoot and just want an opportunity to train under the watchful eyes of some of the region’s most experienced professionals…
COME OUT.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need to know anyone. And you certainly don’t need to be an expert.
Just walk through the door.
Our Tactical Ladies and our instructors will take it from there. ❤️
Come see what this little community we’ve built is all about.
Come laugh with us.
Come meet some incredible women.
Come learn something new.
Come build your confidence.
Come train.
I think you’ll understand pretty quickly why I’m so damn proud of what Ladies Night has become.
You won’t regret it. ❤️

Unfortunately, this is becoming the norm.

It isn’t always the random person being robbed on the street, someone caught in the middle of a business robbery, or an active-shooter situation.

Far too often, we are seeing violent crimes committed by juveniles who appear to have little fear of the consequences and little regard for the lives of you, me, or our children.

That’s why situational awareness matters.

Situational awareness isn’t about living your life in fear. It’s about paying attention. Recognizing when something doesn’t look or feel right. Knowing what’s happening around you, identifying potential danger early, and having a plan before you suddenly find yourself in the middle of it.

We can’t control when or where violence happens.

But we can control how seriously we prepare for it.

Don't live scared. Live aware.

Because the person looking for their next victim doesn’t care whether you thought it could happen to you.

So ask yourself one uncomfortable question:

If you or your family became someone’s next target today…what have you done to prepare?

This is not and advertisement, this is just information from the last couple days around our areas:

WE DON'T POST THESE STORIES TO SCARE YOU.
WE POST THEM BECAUSE WE'VE SEEN WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE AREN'T PREPARED.
Please understand—our posts are never intended to be fear-mongering.
At M.R. Tactical, we speak from decades of real-world law enforcement experience. Our instructors include active and retired police officers, police fi***rms instructors, and nationally and state-certified instructors with more than 250 years of combined law enforcement experience.
And there's something experience has taught us:
What makes the news is only a fraction of what happens in communities every single day.
But our message isn't BE AFRAID.
It's BE PREPARED.
We don't want you scared. We don't want you paranoid. And we certainly don't want you looking for confrontation.
We want you living your life confidently.
We want you trained enough to recognize danger early, make good decisions under stress, protect the people you love, and hopefully never have to use a fi***rm in self-defense.
That's why the pillars of our program have always included:
TRAINING • SITUATIONAL AWARENESS • SAFETY
Sometimes the greatest self-defense skill isn't knowing when to pull a trigger—it's recognizing a dangerous situation early enough that you never have to.
M.R. Tactical will never advocate for violence. Using a fi***rm or potentially deadly force should always be an absolute last resort. Avoidance, distance, de-escalation when possible, and getting yourself and your loved ones to safety should come first.
But every responsible person should eventually ask themselves one difficult question:
If everything else fails…and one day YOU become the last resort for yourself, your children, your spouse, or someone you love—are you confident and capable enough to handle that responsibility?
Don't carry because you're afraid.
Don't train because you're afraid.
TRAIN SO YOU'RE PREPARED.
TRAIN SO YOU'RE CONFIDENT.
TRAIN SO FEAR DOESN'T HAVE TO CONTROL YOUR DECISIONS.
