❄️🌱 Winter Wonder & Garden Helpers 🌱❄️
Today our little explorers enjoyed the first snowfall of the season! They played, observed, and learned as the world transformed around them. After snowy fun, we worked together to clean and prepare our garden for winter, pulling leaves, checking on plants, and talking about how nature rests and gets ready for spring.

Every outdoor moment is a lesson: teamwork, curiosity, care for our environment, and the magic of nature. ✨

Children explored with their handmade binoculars 🔭, searched for the beauty of nature 🍃, harvested fruits and vegetables from our garden and trees 🥬🍊, and reflected on why nature matters to them.

Each child created a card that began with “Amo a la Naturaleza porque…” and filled it with drawings and words straight from their hearts, from loving trees and animals to enjoying fresh air, sunshine, and time to explore. ☀️🌳🦋

These simple, meaningful moments help children build gratitude, awareness, and a lifelong connection to the natural world. 💚✨

Our summer campers transformed into scientists, engineers, artists, mathematicians and language learners while continuing to prepare for Kindergarten. We had the honor to welcome Dr. Amy Thelk JMU Associate Dean College of Education, who graciously taught a lesson during our Community Helper's Week, about her love for gardening. Today was such a blast as we celebrated the 100th day of school. The kids and teachers had an amazing time counting and dressing up as 100 year olds, sharing laughs, and becoming 100 days wiser! Here's to 100 days of growth, memories, and so much more! 👵🏽🧓🏾👩🏻‍🦳🧑🏿‍🦳
