It was a fabulous weekend at the District 66 Toastmasters Conference in Hampton this weekend. Innsbrook Toastmaster, Neha Vashisht gave a wonderful speech in the Tall Tales District Speech Contest with her tale of Taming the Dragons. Seeing her confidence, story telling, and overall public speaking skills flourish since she started Toastmasters has been fantastic.

Moderating a panel can be a lot of fun. It is important to prepare questions in advance and to be mindful of the audience. What would they want to know or takeaway from the discussion? Toastmasters is a great place to learn. I continue to get better each time I step on the stage because of our Tuesday Morning Toastmasters meetings. Check us out.
