When the TDE University Tour '26 pulls up to your HBCU!!!

We're recruiting College GUIDES Mentors!

Partnership for the Future's (PFF) GUIDES mentorship program pairs college graduates with high-achieving high school seniors in the greater Richmond area. As a mentor, you will help students navigate the college and scholarship application process while providing encouragement and guidance during this pivotal year.

About the Program:
- Mentors are matched with rising seniors (we have 71 students this year).
- The commitment is 2 hours per month.
- Training is provided, and you will be supported at every step of the way.

We're proud to celebrate another incredible achievement from our PFF Class of 2026!

Congratulations to Zakiyyah (Highland Springs HS graduate) for being selected as a recipient of the Virginia Council on Women's STEAM-H Scholarship Award. Through the Council's annual essay competition, Zakiyyah was recognized for her academic excellence, leadership, and passion for pursuing a future in STEAM-H.

As part of this prestigious honor, she was invited to the Executive Mansion for a special breakfast with Governor Abigail Spanberger, First Gentleman Adam Spanberger, and fellow scholarship recipients from across the Commonwealth.

Zakiyyah continues to demonstrate what is possible through hard work, determination, and a commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and wish her continued success at Virginia Tech this fall.

On National Intern Day, no one deserves a shout as much as our two summer interns, Destiny and Lynette, through Partnership for the Future!

PFF is a wonderful organization that helps make first generation college education possible. In turn, these graceful, powerhouse young women spent their summer with our team, preparing art projects and exhibits, and sharing their hearts and skills with our energetic K-5 art students at Anna Julia Cooper School summer school!

We sure are going to miss you two! Best wishes for the next chapter!

From walking campus to imagining life as college students, our Level 3 (rising high school seniors) students traveled to Washington, D.C., where they toured Howard University and George Washington University; experiencing college life firsthand and connecting with each campus’s unique community.

Every college visit helps our students dream bigger, ask new questions, and take one step closer to their future.🎓💫

Our Level 2 students (rising high school juniors) recently gathered at The Jefferson Hotel for an afternoon of dining etiquette, professional development, and meaningful conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to our Board members and volunteers who generously shared their time, experiences, and advice with our students. Your mentorship helps prepare the next generation of leaders for success in every setting.
