This week starts Session I of our Robotics Camp!
Center Robotics camps are taught by Ellen O'Leary, and Cheryl Kaplan, mentors of the amazing Blue Cheese Robotics Team from Deep Run, and The Mech Tech Dragons from Maggie Walker. Team members join our camps as youth counselors. Last year both teams competed in Houston at the 2025 First Robotics Competition World Championships where the Blue Cheese Team won the prestigious Judges Award, and The Mech Tech Dragons were Division Finalists and lost to the eventual winner of the event. The Maggie Walker team ended this season ranked 14th in the world! We are so proud of these teams, and grateful for their dedication to sharing their passion for Robotics at The Center!

This week at The Center, artists will use a variety of art materials to create famous building styles from around the world. Campers will use corrugated cardboard, metallic paint, drawing and painting supplies and will experiment with print making! The results will be many two and three dimensional works of art.
