The RVA Mile (aka Regency Mile) & 5k is on Sunday October 25, 2026. It includes the following events: Youth & Adult Mile: Ages 10 & UP, Youth Mile: Ages 9 & UNDER, 400m Express Run: Ages 5 & UNDER, and 5K: ALL AGES.

🍎 Fueling our REES heroes this morning! 🍎

The PTA rolled out our special Snack Cart to surprise the amazing teachers and staff at Rivers Edge Elementary School today! 🛒✨

We wanted to drop by and deliver some much-needed sweet treats and savory snacks to help kickstart their FRIYAY with a smile. They pour so much love and dedication into our students every single day, so it’s our turn to spoil them a little bit.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supports the PTA—moments like this wouldn't be possible without our incredible community! 💙🤍🦅

🦅 Celebrate the close of the school year with the REES PTA End of School Year Celebration on May 27, 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Rivers Edge Bus Loop. It will be a fun opportunity to connect with friends, sign yearbooks, and kick off summer with popsicles and school spirit!

☀️ Get Ready for the Best Day of the Year! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Mark your calendars, REES family! Our annual Field Day is happening on Friday, May 15th, 2026, and we are ready to make some serious memories! It’s going to be a day full of sunshine, healthy competition, and a whole lot of school spirit.

But here’s the truth: we can’t pull off another successful field day without YOU! We are looking for parent volunteers to help us:

🦅 Station manage (cheer on the kids and keep score!)

🦅 Water/lunch distribution

🦅 Help with setup and cleanup 🧹

🦅 Ensure everyone is staying safe and having fun!

Whether you can stay for the whole day or just a couple of hours, your help makes a world of difference for the students. Plus, you get a front-row seat to all the action!
