RIC recently joined Holman Middle School’s Career Day to share the many opportunities available in the aviation industry.

Dereck Tingfah, Manager of Airport Operations, and Michelle Barnett, Community Engagement Coordinator, spoke with students about what happens behind the scenes at RIC. Students enjoyed airport trivia, interactive discussions, and RIC swag while learning more about careers in aviation and the future of travel. 🛫

Huskies had a great time at our first staff inflatable race! Thank you to all the staff members that participated and assisted in making it happen, and to all the students that chose to use their PBIS points to come watch!

We celebrated our 8th graders with a dance and a bowling field trip on May 15, and a rising up ceremony at Glen Allen HS last night! Best of luck in high school Huskies, we will miss you!

Holman has a Spirit Stone! We can’t wait to start decorating it and spread our Huskie Pride! A special thanks goes out to Mitchell and Ben at Luck Stone for helping to make this a reality!

Let’s kick off the last week of school with one last spirit week!

Last night, Holman Esports finished out the year with an invitational match in Super Smash Bros against members of Glen Allen High School’s Esports team! Thank you to all the parents and students who came out and supported our program all year, and of course thank you to Glen Allen for playing with us!

Huskies on the move! This week, students in Mrs. Lewis’s 6th grade class culminated their Save The Bay environmental stewardship unit by participating in a meaningful watershed experience aboard the Baywatcher with tne Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Congratulations to Ms.Slatner, who was chosen as HCPS Middle School Art Teacher of the Year by her peers! Thank you for all that you do for our students every day!

What a night of jazz and art! We loved welcoming visitors into the building to snack, explore art from our 8th graders, and listen to some jazz from our talented jazz band! Thank you to our art and music departments for a great night.
