It's not how Monday begins, but how it ends...

We had a new friend start this morning-- curious, but cautious...holding back just a bit (totally normal)… and by the end of the day? Hugs, bubbly giggles, and all in. I never get tired of watching that shift happen. It wows me every time. ❤️

Then I got some news that honestly humbled me--I’ve been nominated for the Child Care Aware Heart of Service Award. Wow ❤️❤️ To be seen like that, for something that truly comes from my heart… I’m just really grateful.

And on top of that, today kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week, and I was gifted the sweetest notes and little surprises. The kind you hold onto for the tough days.

This work isn’t always easy… but today was a reminder that it matters. Deeply.

Early Childhood Teacher (Assistant or Lead) – Play-Based Preschool

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Kinder Prep Learning Academy is seeking a warm, dependable Early Childhood Teacher (Assistant or Lead, based on experience) to join our team.

We are a licensed, award-winning preschool offering a high-quality, play-based program for children ages 2–5.

Our approach blends child-led exploration with intentional teacher-guided learning, with a strong focus on social-emotional development, STREAM experiences, and hands-on engagement.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿:
$17–$18+ per hour (based on experience)

Low teacher-to-child ratios
Supportive, relationship-centered leadership
Engaging, hands-on classroom environment
Opportunities for professional growth

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Support children through play-based learning experiences
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
Maintain classroom organization and licensing standards

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Experience in early childhood education preferred
High school diploma or GED and background checks required
Strong reliability and consistent attendance are essential
Warm, patient, and team-oriented
Bilingual, preferred
CDA or higher, preferred

Today our Global Explorers took a vibrant journey to Ghana 🇬🇭❤️

Today, we explored Ghana and dove into the rich culture and traditions through hands-on experiences and joyful learning:

✨ Explored the bold patterns and meaning of Kente cloth
🥁 Felt the rhythm with djembe drums and the soothing sounds of the kalimba
🦒 Created giraffe crafts while learning about animals of the savannah
🎶 Sang and moved to call-and-response songs like Toom Bah Ee Lero and Che Che Kule
🍚 And of course… we tasted a jollof rice!

Moments like these remind us that learning goes beyond books—it’s about connection, culture, and curiosity.
