🎶 Music Monday 🎶

Today we kicked off our celebration of NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child with a joyful and energetic Music Monday!

Our students gathered their instruments, found their rhythm, and paraded around the parking lot filling the air with music, laughter, and excitement. From shaking tambourines to beating drums, each child had the opportunity to express themselves creatively while building a sense of community.

Music experiences like these help support language development, coordination, and social-emotional growth all while having so much fun! 🎵🥁

We loved seeing our young musicians shine today and can’t wait for the rest of the week’s celebrations!

We closed out the week with an Egg Hunt for our amazing staff 🌟The children cheered on their teachers as they enjoyed some friendly competition, especially when it came to the golden egg!

This week, our school came alive with creativity, collaboration, and leadership during our annual Preschool Farmer’s Market! Each classroom worked together to create a special item to sell, and our students had the opportunity to visit different classrooms to “shop” and make their own purchasing decisions.

This hands on experience was part of our INSPIRED Leadership curriculum, giving children a meaningful way to practice real world skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Throughout the event, students explored our monthly literacy, Financial Literacy , learning important life lessons about:
✨ Responsibility – making thoughtful choices with their money
✨ Generosity – supporting their peers and celebrating each other’s work
✨ Perseverance – working hard to create and present their items

We are so proud of our young entrepreneurs for demonstrating confidence, teamwork, and leadership every step of the way!

We are elated to introduce this bundle of joy to our LeafSpring family! Hannes Aidara was born on 3/2 weighing 7lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. Congratulations to Ms Tina on the birth of her sweet baby boy 💙

Our Village Students have worked very hard to put together our annual Black History Museum. We also had a special visitor the beginning of the week. Henrico County Chief of Police Colonel Eric D. English stopped by to meet our students and share his story. There’s still time to check out our museum until tomorrow, stop by in our Village!
