Colonial Trail Elementary School

We had authors Stephen Shaskan and Margaret Peterson Haddix spend time with our Cubs last week! The students really enjoyed hearing what it takes to write a book and several got a signed copy. A special thank you to Mrs. Kanner for making this happen.

Mrs. Eaheart’s classroom transformed into a crime scene, and our students became Place Value Detectives!

Students worked their way through place value task cards, solving each challenge to uncover clues. With every correct answer, they got one step closer to cracking the case and discovering WHO DID IT?!

Math + mystery + teamwork = one unforgettable learning experience!

These detectives were determined to solve the crime—and they did it all while practicing their place value skills!
