It took me a really long time to press the “send” button on this email.
The families I’ve met during this program became a second family to me. Thank you for sharing this journey with WILLOW + WREN. Maybe when things slow down a tad, we can open it back up. For now, let’s keep in touch!

Join us on Saturday 2/10, from 10am to 12pm, for Winter Wilderness with Mr. Mike!
Our elementary kiddos (ages 7-11) will continue to partake in hands-on learning for outdoor skills and survival, while continuing their knowledge of knots 🪢 by practicing the proper way to store food with a bear bag and setting up shelter using a tarp, as well as setting up a tent. 🏕️
Register online. $20 per family (younger siblings are welcome to attend the preschool class with Ms. Kristy from 10am-11:00am).

February registration is open for our Saturday 2/10 classes! Register on the website!
- Ages 3-6 will be with Ms. Kristy making heart-shaped bird feeders and playing by the creek
- Ages 7-12 will be with Mr. Mike’s Winter Wilderness class, continuing practicing different knots to safely store bear bags and using a tarp as shelter

Elementary Kids (ages 7-11):
Join us for “Winter Wilderness” with Mr. Mike on Saturday 1/13 from 10am to 12pm at Echo Lake Park! The older kids will be learning hands-on wilderness survival skills, while Ms. Kristy facilitates the preschool program (“Winter Olympics”) at the creek from 10am to 11:00am. January registration is now open! Our Tuesday preschool classes are full for the Winter session; however, our Saturday class has openings.
Wilderness + Survival class with Mr. Mike (ages 7-10) is back one Saturday per month for 2 hours, 10AM-12PM!!! Register for Sat 1/13 on the website.

Our winter session (Dec - Feb) for our Preschool Tuesdays is full; however, registration is now open on the website for our Saturday Preschool and Wednesday evening “Goodnight, Nature” happy hours!

We had an awesome day today with our preschool class and our elementary homeschoolers class with Mr. Mike!
🥾 Our preschoolers did an amazing job going on our mini hike together and I was so proud of all of them for saying “goodbye” to moms while we explored, talked to the geese, and visited the “big kid” class to watch how they built a shelter in the woods
⛺️ Our elementary homeschoolers had a blast learning some outdoor survival tips with Mr. Mike, as they built a shelter in the woods, learned how to make a sling out of a bandana, and practiced rescuing friends with a “four-hand or four-figure seat carry” and a “firefighter carry”.
