Mrs. Teresa Phelps visited 3rd grade STEM classes to share some antiques and discuss advances in technology over the past century. Students compared candles, lanterns, and lamps as well as other household items like coffee pots, irons, mixers, and a washboard. Students noticed that the antiques did not use electricity while our modern day appliances all have cords or batteries. Thank you, Mrs. Teresa!
