Mathnasium is located at 63 Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury. Started in California in 2004, the Mathnasium franchise currently consists of about 400 centers in the United States and close to 100 additional centers around the world. Although there were no Mathnasium franchises in Connecticut 3 years ago, there are now 8 centers operating in the state. Glastonburyโ€™s Mathnasium is operating under the dire

ction of Rita Reimer, who has worked as a Special Education and Mathematics teacher for the last 20 years. Mathnasium offers memberships, which allow the student to attend the center 8 to 10 times per month. Students can join for a 6-month or 12-month term. The student teacher ratio for students enrolled in the program is 1 to 3 or better. We are currently accepting students in grades 1 through high school, and even some post-secondary students. Mathnasium also offers one-on-one tutoring sessions, and SAT preparation instruction. At Mathnasium, after an initial meeting, a student takes an assessment that helps us to develop an individualized learning plan and a individualized program notebook. We serve students who want enrichment, ones who are working at grade level and those who would benefit from remedial help. We are the place to go if you want to develop your math skills. Please call, email or stop by the center to learn more about our programs. We will be happy to discuss your childโ€™s math learning needs with you. We are conveniently located at 63 Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury center. Contact us at 860 430-9633, at [email protected] or you can check us out online at www.mathasium.com/glastonbury. Make September Your Math Fresh Start
The beginning of the school year doesn't have to mean pressure, long study sessions, or trying to fix every math challenge at once.

Instead, September can be about creating simple habits: practicing consistently, reviewing mistakes, asking questions, and building confidence one skill at a time.
The goal isn't to become perfect at math overnight. It's to make steady progress.

And when those small September habits continue throughout the school year, students may discover something important: math can become less stressful, more familiar, and even more enjoyable.

Algebraic thinking develops gradually through practice, problem-solving, and a strong understanding of foundational math concepts. At Mathnasium, students work on understanding why math works not simply memorizing steps.

Whether a student is building early number skills or preparing for algebra, personalized instruction can help develop the confidence and reasoning skills they need to tackle increasingly challenging math.
