Rowan University’s athletic programs compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. Rowan is a member of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference. The University sponsors 18 athletic teams - eight men and 10 women. Men’s sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, swimming and diving, and indoor an

d outdoor track and field. The women’s teams consist of basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer, swimming and diving, indoor and outdoor track and field and volleyball. Rowan has won 11 NCAA Division III Championships - five in men’s outdoor track and field, two in baseball and men’s soccer and one in men’s basketball and field hockey. Rowan has won 179 NJAC Championships and has made 317 appearances in NCAA Tournaments and Championship events.

The two-time defending NJAC Champion Rowan University Men's Soccer team returns for the 2026 season looking to build on another successful campaign. The Profs went 17-4-4 in 2025, reaching the NCAA Tournament’s Third Round.

Rowan returns a strong core of players, including defenders Greg Ferreira and Luke McNamee, midfielder Christian McGillen, and forward Carill Asanji, while welcoming an exciting group of newcomers and transfers.

Ranked #12 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, Rowan opens the season September 1 at home against Stockton at 6 pm.

Rowan Women’s Soccer returns for the 2026 season looking to build on a 13-2-5 campaign in 2025 that saw the Profs reach the NJAC Championship game and earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Ranked #18 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, the Profs open the season September 5th at home against Pratt at 5 pm!
