Our Glassboro graduates and a sweet Glassboro High School/J. Harvey Rodgers School tradition made the news this week.
News 12 | New Jersey | Jersey Proud Glassboro Grads Fulfill Tradition By Returning To Humble Beginnings
And as is tradition, there was one place the seniors had to go before they got their diplomas. They went back to school. Their first school.

Good morning, Bulldogs,
Fair warning: my end-of-year letter turned into three pages because I'm so incredibly proud of the work we've done together this year.
If you're short on time, here's the summary:
• We did a lot.
• We have a lot left to do.
• We're incredibly hopeful about what's next.
For those who want the full story, the letter highlights a year of accomplishments, gratitude, and the exciting work ahead for Glassboro Public Schools.
Thanks for your partnership, support, and Bulldog Pride throughout this remarkable year.
Yours in service,
Al Lewis
Superintendent of Schools

We're already celebrating our Glassboro High School graduates! The Class of 2026 returned to where their Bulldog Journey began at J. Harvey Rodgers School today. Students, staff, and administrators greeted them with cheers, applause, and bubbles. Tonight the GHS seniors will mark their official graduation with a commencement ceremony at Rowan.

Tonight, we celebrated the ultimate middle school milestone as our Thomas E. Bowe School 8th Grade Class crossed the threshold to high school! Over the past three years, we’ve watched as these students transformed into leaders, mentors, artists, musicians, athletes, and scholars. Thank you to all the people who supported them in getting there.
Introducing the Glassboro High School of 2030! We can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.

Kindness counts! J. Harvey Rodgers School special area teachers presented this year's Sue Hars Kindness Award to a very special kindergartner - Bryson Carr-Heston!
Sue Hars was a physical education teacher at Rodgers School for 17 years and was always known for her bravery and kindness. Bryson, a student in co-teachers Maire Kennedy and Danielle Cerrato's class, is a Bulldog buddy who has those same qualities. He is kind to classmates, uses gentle words, includes others in play, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Congratulations, Bryson!
