🍎✨ Little learners, BIG beginnings! ✨🍎

Today was an exciting day across Glassboro Public Schools as we welcomed families to J. Harvey Rodgers School and the Mitcho Center for orientation!

Our littlest Bulldogs had the chance to explore their classrooms, meet their teachers and new friends, and get a first look at the places where they’ll be learning, playing, and growing this year.

This year is especially exciting as we welcome the first group of preschool students to the Mitcho Center, beginning a brand-new chapter for our district. We are so excited to officially welcome the first group of preschool students!

Renovations are underway in the gym at Thomas E. Bowe Middle School, including roofing repairs to alleviate leaks and prevent damage, a fresh coat of paint on the walls and ceiling for an updated look and the new flooring is ready to be installed.

🐾 Welcome to the Mitcho Center, Bulldogs! 🐾

Our newest Bulldogs are getting ready for a very special year at the Mitcho Center!

Dr. Giordano, Mrs. Wheat, and Mrs. Tuttle put together this fun welcome video to introduce themselves, give families a peek inside the Mitcho Center, and showcase some of the learning, exploring, playing, and growing our youngest students will experience this year.

A special shoutout and thank you to Rowan University for its partnership and support in helping us bring this exciting new preschool opportunity to life right here in Glassboro!

We are so excited to welcome our students and families as we begin this new chapter together. There are lots of smiles, adventures, and special memories ahead!

Progress is taking shape across Glassboro Public Schools!

Thanks to our community’s overwhelming support of the Nov. referendum, George Beach Administration Building and J. Harvey Rodgers School received new roofing.

As these projects wrap up, these buildings will be protected as they support our staff and students for years to come.

The Mitcho Early Childhood Center at Rowan University is preparing to open its doors this fall. Operated by Glassboro Public Schools, the new preschool facility adds two more classrooms to our Pre-K program.

🏀 READY TO HIT THE COURT, BULLDOGS? 🏀

Glassboro Parks & Recreation Fall Travel Basketball registration is NOW OPEN for students in 3rd–8th grade!

Whether they’re ready to compete, sharpen their skills, or just love the game, it’s time to lace up and get ready for the 2026 season!

📅 Registration is open now through October 9
💲 $125 registration fee
📋 Evaluations begin the week of October 13

And grown-ups, they need you, too! Volunteer coaches are needed!
