Phi Kappa Psi was founded by William Henry Letterman and Charles Page Thomas Moore at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, PA in 1852. Based around the idea of giving and the "great joy of serving others," Phi Psi has grown from a couple of friends to a complex network of alumni, undergraduate students, graduate students, and parents all based around the sacred standard of brotherhood. Since its foundation, Phi Kappa Psi has initiated over 100,000 members nationally and has over 100 active chapters.

On this day in 1852, William Henry Letterman and Charles Page Thomas Moore founded our great Brotherhood. Today marks 174 years of an unmatched fraternity dedicated to academic excellence and service to others.
