Join us this Wednesday (Feb 28) for our first Theorizing talk of the spring! At 5 pm in Business Hall 122, Prof. Giuseppe Bianco (U. of Montreal) will present a talk entitled “Global Philosophy? The first international congresses of philosophy (1900-1948)”. By examining the controversies that arose during these sessions, we can better understand the emergency of philosophy as a professional academic discipline. They also provide an opportunity for us to rethink our idea of philosophy.
