In Romans 1:1-7, believers are urged to deepen their understanding of their identity and mission in Christ. As Paul introduces himself and his message, believers see the continuity of God’s redemptive plan, the dual nature of Jesus Christ, and the empowering grace that calls believers to faith and obedience. This passage reminds believers that they are loved by God and set apart as His holy people, unified in their diverse backgrounds by the inclusive call of the Gospel.
