Safety Comes First at the BCATC!

Safety is always our #1 priority at the Barren County Area Technology Center!

Our Welding, Electricity, and Carpentry students recently came together for important ladder and scaffolding safety training. Students are learning how to properly inspect, set up, use, and work safely around ladders and scaffolding. These skills that are essential both in the classroom and on the job site.

These hands-on safety lessons help our students develop the knowledge, habits, and confidence they need to become safe, skilled, and career-ready professionals.

We are proud of our students for taking safety seriously and of our instructors for making sure safety is built into everything we do!

At the BCATC, we don't just prepare students for a career, we prepare them to have a SAFE career.
