We are always proud of our Scholars! Congratulations Ashley!

Congratulations to 8th grader Ashley Nguyen who has been named a 2019 St. John Vianney Scholar! This distinctive academic honor awards her a $12,000 scholarship to be used over her 4 years at any Philadelphia area Archdiocesan High School. She will be attending Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in the fall! Michael Greenly, chair of the St. John Vianney Scholars Board, presented Ashely with her award.

St. John Vianney Scholars also are chosen from those who have taken the Neumann Scholarship test. On average 10 students are awarded 4 year partial scholarships to attend an Archdiocesan High School.

2017 SJV Scholars Announced!

Mike Greenly, Chairman of the St. John Vianney Scholars Program began making presentations at Archdiocesan Elementary Schools to 2017 scholarship recipients.

On Thursday, February 16th, Mike visited Saint Francis Xavier School at 24th and Wallace Streets just north of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. He was pleased to present Bernadette Mooney with her scholarship announcement from the SJV Scholars program.

Mike also visited Saint Francis de Sales School in the University City section of Philadelphia where he made a presentation to Nwai Alfa. Nwai is pictured with Sister Mary McNulty, IHM, Principal of Saint Francis de Sales.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Bernadette and Nwai for their exceptional academic achievements and being selected as 2017 SJV Scholars.
