Introducing Mr. Brott!! Jr/Sr High Social Studies!

Graduated from Ferris with a degree in Business Administration, worked 2-years as an engineer for General Motors. After plant closure I went back to Central Michigan University and received my teaching certificate, vocational authorization and Driver Ed certification. Taught at Gladwin High School for 30-years; Marketing, Economics, Accounting and Driver education (33-years). Currently on various boards in Gladwin including Members First Board Chair, New Dawn Shelter Board Chair and involved in Board of Review and Planning Commission for the city of Gladwin.
Enjoy car shows snowmobiling and enjoying the outdoors.

Hey Skeels fam!!

I'm Mrs. Ehle, I am returning for my 6th year teaching at Skeels!

I will be teaching our jr. high and sr. high science- it's a life science year!! Whoop whoop! Get ready for lots of plants, dissections, & microscope work!

If you know me, you know I am a true science nerd šŸ¤“ I LOVE sharing my passion about God's incredible creation through the lens of science. One of my favorite things is when elementary students share their cool science finds, the amazing science facts they know and random science questions they have for me. Their excitement is just something I wish I could just bottle up! God truly put me in the perfect job!!

I will also be leading our 7th & 8th graders through a great year, teaching their math, and heading up their online dynamic learning, they get a lot of me this year!! šŸ„°

I am so pumped to be able to offer Art for our 7th-12th graders this year! I truly believe school is not just about acquiring knowledge, but about developing student's brains!! Art is an important outlet for students, and critical for fully developing all areas of their education.

For those non-art lovers, rest assured because we will swap for gym second semester šŸ˜‰ also pumped for! Bringing back the Presidential fitness test this year!! *Anyone else remember that from back in the day!?!

Also throw in yearbook and something we are bringing back-student council!

Education background: Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from Saginaw Valley State University

Hobbies/interests: Gardening, fishing, hiking, boating, anything outdoors really!! I started running and exercising regularly again this summer- that's a hobby for a mom of 5!! šŸ¤£

Family life: Married to my high school sweetheart, Tom, celebrating 17 years this August. 5 Sons, Wesley, Jack, Abe, Ben and Elijah. 4 out of 5 attend Skeels, Eli the baby of the family is still in "Grandma School"

Skeels has become family to me ā¤ļø my sons have received an amazing education, one I could have only dreamed of having when I was a kid. I love that they grow up everyday with Godly people, who genuinely love them. I love that I still get to be a part of their education and their days. And my students forever have a piece of my heart!

Hi everyone! I'm Kailah Morgan (Miss. Kailah) and this is my first year with Skeels, as well as my first year teaching. I couldn't be more blessed to have this opportunity! I will be teaching 3rd, and 5th/6th grade history, as well as 5th grade math. I received my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Mid Michigan College in 2023. I am returning to Mid this fall to begin my B.S. in Secondary Education, majoring in Visual Arts Education.

Although, this is my first year teaching I have worked with kids for a number of years! I served on my church's childrens worship team for five years. During that time I also had the opportunity to co-teach Sunday school, and lead our Wednesday night Prims class. Likewise, I am also a part of the Clare-Gladwin RESD SPARKS program at the Gladwin Elementary school as an Activity Leader. Through these experiences I've been able to gain so much knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the field.

My hobbies include: reading, writing, junk-journaling, running, painting, and all things crafty. I enjoy spending time with my family, and friends! I also enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.

My favorite colors are green, yellow, and pink.

My favorite verse is Esther 4:14 "Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created". It reminds me to live with purpose and to always be present in the moment. Opportunities are all around us, we just need to take the time to notice them and have faith to take the first step.

I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity and am looking forward to a great year! God is good, all the time! And Go Eagles!

Introducing Mrs. Siegert!!!!
3rd-6th Language & Math!

I am gearing up for my 17th year at Skeels and super excited to see you all! One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing all the studentsā€™ personalities shine through as they work to learn throughout the year. Academics of course, but to watch their relationships with Jesus grow and strengthen is one of the most exciting things I have had the privilege to witness!

I graduated from Western Michigan University eons ago with my Elementary education degree. I owned my own daycare when my kids were young so I could stay with themā€¦then followed them to Skeels when they were both old enough to go!

I enjoy my morning quiet time with Jesus, spending time with and going on adventures with my family, playing pickleball with my wonderful hubby, drinking good coffee, trying out new restaurants and delicious food, traveling to warm places, lots and lots of plants, boating, and my new loveā€¦wakesurfing!
