Intro Mrs. Kellogg! Kindergarten!

This will be my sixth year working with the Skeels family. I started as a preschool teacher before moving to Kindergarten, where I have spent the past two years. I truly love teaching this age group and look forward to another year of fun adventures with my new students.

A little about me: I am married to my awesome husband, Mr. Kellogg, and we have two great kids who attend SCS. In my free time, I love the outdoors, music, baking, cooking with my crockpot, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Introducing Mrs. Hoffman! Preschool teacher!

Hello! I’m Mrs. Hoffman, and I am so excited to be the preschool teacher this year! I truly believe preschool is a wonderful time for children to grow, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

My husband and I stay busy raising our three amazing children. As a family, we enjoy caring for our horses, sheep, chickens, and ducks. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll often find me cheering at soccer games, attending horse and livestock shows, or tending to the big garden I plant each summer.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 16:24: “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” This verse is a reminder of something I value deeply—that kind, encouraging words have the power to build others up. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels loved, respected, encouraged, and excited to learn each day.

I can’t wait to make this a fun, memorable, and faith-filled year together!

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Gagne and I'm the new Principal of Skeels Christian School! I've been married to my husband for 11 years and we have 3 boys that all attend Skeels!

I just wanted to take moment and let everyone know who we are and what we offer! We believe that Chrisitan education should always be an option for families! We offer preschool through 12th grade Christian education with smaller class sizes! We believe in the gospel and truth of Jesus & we cling to it as the center of our school!

Now that we are located closer to the town of Gladwin we are hoping to become more involved with the community! Our website is up to date with information and never hesitate to reach out to myself or the Skeels Office to chat with one of our staff! 😊
