Being the mum of a four-month-old who needs surgery is a scary thing...especially when you are too poor to cover the cost...so the surgery doesn't happen.

Pamela is a widow trying to recover from stomach surgery. She is on strong medication which requires it to be taken with food. Pamela and her 13-year-old daughter have no food.
Since the surgery she has been too weak to do farm work and she needs help.
