What a grand day it was for the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children today! We were delighted to celebrate the ribbon cutting for our new home at the Family Resource Advocacy Network (FRAN) in Salem. We look forward to joining many services and resources for families in the new space.

Your individual experience is as important as ever, and your collective voice helps NAEYC understand how current policies are working in practice, where providers face challenges, and what's needed to support safe, high-quality early learning environments.

ORAEYC is now accepting presenter proposals for the 2026 Early Childhood Education Summit, October 8–10.

Educators, program leaders, advocates, higher education faculty, family child care providers, and early learning partners will come together to learn from one another. The most meaningful sessions are those grounded in real experiences, practical ideas, and the diverse perspectives that strengthen Oregon's early childhood community. We especially invite proposals presented in languages other than English and topics such as environments, curriculum, and guidance.

Help us create a conference where more educators can learn, connect, and share in the languages that best reflect their communities and professional development needs.

Whether you're presenting for the first time or are a seasoned conference speaker, we hope you'll consider sharing your knowledge and experience.
